External
antenna for ActiveGPS |
GPS antenna with SMA-contact, cable length
3 m, needed when the
internal antenna on the ActiveGPS can not be used. It's water
resistant and it got a built in magnet hold for easy fit.
4 rubber feet prevent the car for beeing scratched.
The antenna is a so called 'active' which means that
it got a built in amplifier(LNA) that gives a
superior reception compared to 'passive' antennas.
The external antenna gets the power supply through
the cable from ActiveGPS. |
Note:
- Place the
antenna so it gets as lot of free sight for
all directions as possible to the GPS-satellites.
- The signal
will reduce if you bent the cable to abruptly.
